Dining out
Chudleigh offers some great places to eat in, and a number of takeaways within the Town itself. Treat yourself to a table at The Phoenix gastro pub which is committed to sourcing local ingredients and serves excellent food with a welcoming and cozy atmosphere. Or check out the Bishop Lacey, a friendly local pub that serves good classical pub grub, and has a takeaway menu. If you’re after a quick bite at lunchtime, we have two cafes, Harvey’s Coffee shop and Pottery Court Cafe, both serving light lunches and cream teas in the centre of Chudleigh. Or grab a tasty breakfast bap, Panini or salad bowl from Sangers sandwich shop.
And for those of you who love local food and drink, you are in for a treat – there are lots of wonderful countryside pubs within a short drive of Chudleigh serving fresh local produce, amazing local seafood, and local wines and ales – there is something for everyone, including dog-friendly eateries.
