The skate park at Millstream Meadow
We have had several complaints that people have been using the skate park over the weekend.
This facility was closed on 23 March, at the same time that all the play and sports facilities in Chudleigh were closed for public use.
Whilst it is possible to physically lock facilities like the play parks and the MUGA, this is not possible with the skate park as it is situated in open land.
Please respect the fact that it is closed and do not use it.
It is impossible to maintain social distancing rules whilst using the skate park and you run the risk of being infected if other users have touched the same surfaces as you.
Just as important, should you suffer a fall and need medical attention you will be wasting valuable NHS resource that can be better used elsewhere at the moment.
