Work at the cemetery
After a few false starts Schoolings Builders will be commencing work at the cemetery on 21 August. They will be constructing a fourth wall on the walled memorial garden as we are shortly going to start to need more wall space for memorial plaques. Schoolings anticipate that the work will take around two weeks. The layby outside the main entrance to the cemetery will be mainly out of use as Schoolings will set up a heras fenced compound in the layby between the main entrance and the small gate to the footpath. The compound will be protected by boards and contain a skip, a portaloo and materials for the works.
Inevitably, there will be some disruption for visitors to the cemetery but full open access will be retained throughout the duration of the work.
