Allotments to Rent
The Town Council has 2 allotment sites for residents living within the parish. The annual price for an allotment is between £25 – £43 (depending on size) and rent is due from 1 October to 30 September each year. On acceptance of an Allotment you agree to pay full rental for that year. From then on the rent is invoiced annually as nine months arrears and three months in advance. To find out more about the town’s allotments and to add you name to the waiting list please print off and complete the Allotment Waiting List and pop it though the Town Hall letterbox or email it to clerk@chudleigh-tc.gov.uk
Exeter Road Allotments
Chudleigh Town Council bought this site in 2017 after renting it for allotment use since 1921. There are 72 plots on this 2.5 acres site.

Tower Hill Allotment
The Tower Hill allotments site was given to the town council by Lord Clifford in March 1920, around the same time as the Exeter Road site was founded, although that took nearly two years of negotiation with the Lady Abbess of the convent. Following the closure of the First World War there was the need for food production hence the drive to set up allotments. The allotment site has 64 plots.
