Join us to Celebrate Chudleigh on Saturday 29th April?

We have a lot of new people in town, who may not be aware of all the things Chudleigh has to offer. Plus, after three years of near-isolation, many of us have got out of the habit of going out and about.

This day is a reminder to all of us of the great community we live in. There’s a lot going on throughout the day.

Visit the exhibition in the Woodway Room to meet the businesses, community groups and charities. Bring the kids to the taster sessions in the Main Hall in the afternoon and have a go at a variety of activities from singing to boxercise to treasure hunting. Drop into the Rest Centre for coffee in the morning (in aid of Cancer Lifeline South West) or for a FREE cream tea from 3.30pm.

If you are peckish in the meantime, there will be burgers for sale on the fore court; and you can explore one of the police vehicles at the same time. (If you ask really nicely, you may be able to play with the blues and twos.)

In the evening, we’ll be presenting the Citizen’s Award at the Annual Town Meeting in the Main Hall from 6.30pm.  Plus there’s the opportunity to ask questions of the candidates hoping to win our votes in the TDC elections. And to round off the day, there’s live music in the Woodway Room with a licensed bar.

Entry to all the day’s activities is free. Hopefully there’s something for everyone.
