Town Hall wi-fi.
Many of you will know that the Town Hall is two distinct buildings that have been joined together. The Woodway Room side of the building used to be the United Reform Church until it was purchased by the Town Council some 28 years ago. This has meant that the Town Hall wi-fi did not stretch to the Woodway Room because the signal could not penetrate what amounts to two thick external walls. We will be taking steps to rectify this over the next month so, by May, town hall users will be able to access wi-fi in the Woodway Room. At the same time, our contractor will be taking steps to improve the strength of signal in the Large Hall.
