Devon County Council – Notification of intended road closure of Oldway on 19.4.99 for 5 weeks

 

Good Morning,

We would like to give you advanced warning of an intended road closure in the CHUDLEIGH area.

We are applying to Devon County Council to close a section of OLDWAY LANE, CHUDLEIGH, DEVON,  TQ13 0EQ on   19TH APRIL 2022 for a period of FIVE WEEKS.

This is to enable us to carry out essential highway improvement works. Due to the width of the existing carriageway we have no choice but to close this section of road for safety reasons to protect our workers and members of the public.

I have attached a map of the closure and the diversion route for your reference.

We are legally obliged to give you advanced warning of this intended road closure as potentially affected parties.

Thank you in advance for your understanding, and we apologise for any inconvenience which may be caused.

The closure of this particular road should not cause any disruption to the local area.

We will maintain access for every single residential property at all times to minimise any disruption.
