Chudleigh Library Information 1.7.20
We will be reopening to the public as from 10am on Monday 6th July. There will be limited access to the stock, queueing and one way systems in place with a maximum of 6 people allowed in the building at any one time. We plan to open the library for two hours per day within our traditional opening pattern, so 10-12 in the mornings and 2-4 in the afternoons.
Along side this, we will be offering a Choose and Collect service as from 6th July.
Customers can either email chudleigh.library@librariesunlimited.org.uk or call 01626 852469 (during opening hours) with their requests, whether that be a specific title or a request for a number of crime (or whatever genre is preferred) books.
Jill will then select the items from our stock only, the facility to order items from across the county is currently suspended, issue to the customer’s library card and advise the customer of a day and time slot for collection.
The collection point will be in the lobby of the library and will be clearly signposted.
Also, we will be running our Summer Reading Challenge as usual this year, but most of the challenge will be online.
We recognise that lack of digital access may be a barrier for some, so we are trying to contact families for whom this may cause a problem to provide them with a traditional pack.
If families let us know if they would like to take part then we can set aside a pack for collection.
