Chudleigh Town Council Play Parks (24.3.2020)
Following last night’s announcements it is necessary for the Town Council to close all our play parks and leisure facilities with immediate effect. This closure impacts on the following facilities:-
- The play park at The Gardens
- The play park and multi-use games area at Fore Street park
- The play park at Culver Green
- The play park at Millstream Meadow
- The outdoor gym at Millstream Meadow
- The skate [park at Millstream Meadow
The play park at Palace Meadow belongs to Teignbridge District Council. My assumption is that they will be closing that facility.
Can I just emphasise that the parks themselves remain open, it is purely the play facilities that are being closed.
I’m afraid that I cannot give you any indication when we will be able to re-open these facilities but, rest assured, they will reopen when we are advised that it is safe to do so.
