Things to do in the community

Chudleigh Carnival
In addition to Carnival week, the Carnival committee put on events throughout the year to raise money for a variety of different Charities and to bring the community together.
Chudleigh History Group
The Group takes a very active interest in any matters relating to the history, preservation or investigation of the fabric of the community, and constantly monitor any proposed changes or rearrangements affecting the town. They meet once a month (apart from January and normally on the first Friday) in the Woodway Room within the Town Hall.
Chudleigh Writers Circle
Established in August 2009 by published author Kate McCormick, the group meet monthly at 10.00-12.00am on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at Chudleigh Town Hall.
The Square
The Square hosts local projects and provides a beautiful green space for the community.
Chudleigh Together
Chudleigh Together is a befriending scheme to link volunteers with local residents who feel a bit isolated. They could be new parents, those recently discharged from hospital, experiencing mental health challenges, finding their mobility is restricted, or a host of other factors that can affect our ability to meet with others. Working in partnership with Volunteering in Health they accept referrals direct (Contact Mary Anne McFarlane 01626 852002) or through ViH.
Chudleigh and District U3A
The U3A is a self-help organization for people who are retired, semi-retired or no longer in full-time employment. It provides opportunities for members to share learning experiences and to pursue educational, creative and leisure activities in a friendly environment. Monthly Meetings are held at The Woodway Room in Chudleigh Town Hall @ 10:00 - 12:00 on the 3rd Wednesday of the Month.
